Scott Cramer is most well know for his social message business, Northern Sun Merchandising, on Lake St in Minneapolis, which he started in 1979. His family came to Minneapolis in 1891 and he lives with in 3 miles of where he was born. He has considered himself a social activist since he was 16 and started going to demonstrations against the Viet Nam War. He has been arrested 5 times for non violent civil disobedience, the last time being at the 4 sacred Oaks, during the Hwy 55 reroute struggle. He believes he has been blessed with so many good things in life, that he owes as much as he can give back to others in repayment for his good fortune. He also knows how to have fun and take care of himself and not burn out when faced with the awesome number of issues we face. If his hair would grow back, it would truly be a perfect world.
